A more luxurious interior
The interior of the all-new 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been completely revamped. The new interior is inspired by the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class flagship sedan and the layout of the design and dashboard as well as the 11.9-inch centre display portrait screen remind us of the most luxurious Mercedes-Benz vehicle today.
This new centre display isn't just elegant and easy-to-use, it is packed with connectivity features as well. There is the latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience system which delivers advanced voice command capability as well as wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto along with Wi-Fi access. And, the new C-Class will offer up to 7 user profiles that can be accessed using a fingerprint scanner. In other words, step inside the new C-Class, put your finger on the scanner, and all of your preferred settings will load automatically. There's even a dashcam that's built into the C-Class.
The other thing that we will notice is the large area dedicated to the available wood and metal trims inside the new C-Class. Again, this is directly inspired by the luxurious S-Class. A 12.3 in configurable digital instrument cluster is also included.
Impressive efficiency
The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 255 horsepower along with 295 pound-feet of torque. Better yet, this engine is paired to a mild hybrid system which uses a 48-volt battery to generate an extra 23 horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque. In other words, the new engine delivers more power than ever before, but thanks to the improved efficiency of the 48-volt system, it also delivers better fuel economy.
